November 22. Most people
associate this day with the assassination of JFK, or perhaps even the birthday of
the world wide famous British
author George Eliot. But for a few of us from Richardson, Texas, it’s also the
day a good friend of ours took his own life.
Every year I plan to have
something great, or worthwhile, written on Josh’s behalf. But I just can’t seem to
find the right words, at the right time. Nothing seems good enough.
All I know is I want to honor
him on this November day. I truly hate what happened, and I definitely think
about it more than one sad day in November, but this is the one and only day I
still allow myself to feel 100% guilty about his tragic death, even if I deserve more.
